SOUYIE
Smart Watch
A fitness watch that takes calls and notifications. Comes with both a metal and silicone band.
$149
This watch pairs to your phone so you can answer calls, see texts, and track workouts without pulling your phone out every few minutes. It has a 1.43" AMOLED screen and runs about a week between charges — longer if you're not using it constantly.
It comes with two straps: a metal one and a silicone one. Nice if someone switches between the office and the gym and doesn't want to look like they're wearing gym gear to a meeting.
The health tracking (heart rate, steps, sleep) is there, but the manual says blood pressure is "for reference only, not medical grade." Water resistance is limited — fine for handwashing or running in the rain, but don't wear it swimming or in the shower.
Why it works
- Answer calls from your wrist without digging out your phone.
- Week-long battery — less time hunting for a charger.
- Two bands included, so you can swap styles.
Who it's for
- Someone who wants notifications on their wrist but not an Apple Watch budget.
- A parent or partner who's always leaving their phone in another room.
What to know
- Health tracking isn't medical-grade. It's for trends, not diagnosis.
- Water resistant for rain and handwashing, but not swimming or showers.
- Needs the DaFit app. Works with older iPhones and Androids.
