The Pearl Source
Japanese Akoya Pearl Bracelet
A single-strand Hanadama-grade Akoya pearl bracelet. White, round, 6.5–7mm pearls with a 14K gold clasp.
$960
This is a strand of Hanadama-grade Akoya pearls — certified by the Japan Pearl Science Laboratory, which is about as close to an official grading as you get for Akoyas. The pearls are 6.5–7mm, white, round, with what they call "superior luster." The nacre is very thick, so they should hold up well over time.
It's strung on silk thread with double knots between each pearl. If the thread ever breaks, the pearls won't scatter everywhere.
Comes with a certificate of authenticity and a gift box, so you don't have to source packaging or proof separately. You can choose the bracelet length when you order — helpful if you know whether someone has a smaller or larger wrist.
One note: a review mentioned the clasp was confusing to use at first. Might take a minute to figure out.
Why it works

- Comes with certificate and gift box already handled.
- Multiple length options reduce the chance of a bad fit.
Who it's for
- Someone who wears classic jewelry and would appreciate real pearls.
- A milestone gift — anniversary, significant birthday, graduation.
What to know
- The clasp can be tricky to use the first time.
- Silk thread will need restringing eventually with regular wear.
- Discreet outer packaging — not obviously jewelry on delivery.
