Asmodee Ticket to Ride Board Game
A route-building game where you claim train routes across a map of North America. Easy to learn, works for 2–5 people.
$43.99
You're building train routes across the U.S. and Canada. Each turn you do one thing: draw cards, claim a route, or pick up new destination tickets. The map sits in the middle, and everyone's competing for the same routes.
It takes about 30–60 minutes, depending on how many people are playing. The rules are simple enough that someone who's never played a board game like this can pick it up in one round.
One thing to know: in 2–3 player games, only one person can claim each double-route. At higher player counts both sides open up. The board feels tighter with fewer people.
Why it works
- Works for two people or a small group.
- Turns are fast — you do one thing and pass.
- Everyone's building on the same map, so there's competition without complicated rules.
Who it's for
- A couple who wants a board game that isn't cooperative.
- Someone hosting small game nights and needs something approachable.
What to know
- Takes up table space — you need room for the board and cards.
- At 2–3 players, route-blocking rules change slightly.
